This month’s meeting will be held at the Sheraton Hotel at 1 Monarch Place in Springfield from 11:30AM – 1:00PM on April 20th. (You can park under the building, just make sure to bring up your ticket to get it validated.) Our speaker will be Thomas M. Devine who has been a certified martial arts instructor for 30 years and has developed employee active threat mitigation programs for private industry. He will be talking to us about how to deal with “Active Threats”, i.e. a person coming into our facilities or employee on employee violence, either unarmed or with a weapon other than a firearm. Lunch will be served by the Sheraton and the cost for the meeting will be $15.00.
