Bill will be speaking to “Managing the Media in a Crisis Situation” When an incident occurs that is deemed “newsworthy” by the media, the incident can become a crisis even if the initial incident was handled correctly. “Managing the Media in Crisis Situations” will teach participants how to deal with the media by reviewing the “Basic Assumptions” to follow when dealing with reporters. Actual news footage of incidents affecting companies will be shown. Participants will get a “behind the scenes” look at the preparation and planning that went into handling the media in each incident. Media training can help you more effectively assist your in-house Media Relations person in crafting an effective message to protect your brand.
This presentation will qualify for CE credits for anyone holding certifications.
This is a “can’t miss” opportunity. Mark your calendar today for this event.
Please e-mail your RSVP to me no later than September 2nd.
