2018 is coming to a close and our final chapter meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, 11/14/2018. The meeting will take place at the Munich Haus German Restaurant in Chicopee, MA (details below).
A presentation will be given by Terrence Plakias (see below), and we will hold our election for the 2019 Chapter Officer positions.

The cost for the meeting is waved if you sign up Friday the 9th or before. After that it will be $25 per person. Lunch will be provided.

Presentation Topic: Used Cooking Oil Theft in New England
The presentation is a brief overview of the largely unknown and unseen crime of used cooking oil theft in New England. With thousands of restaurants across New England, grease thieves are actively stealing used cooking oil to sell on the black market.
Speaker Bio:
Mr. Plakias is an ASIS member and currently works as the Loss Prevention Executive for Western Mass. Rendering Co. He has a MA, Business & Organizational Security Management and BA, Political Science. He is also a 12-year veteran of Military Intelligence followed by civilian employment with agencies such as DoD, DHS, and DoC. Mr. Plakias served in overseas military deployments with the National Guard to Bosnia (2000) and Iraq (2003).
